New Year, New Website!
Welcome to our new website!!! The site offers many features including being mobile friendly, easy booking and notifications right here at the top of the home page of the weekly dive status. Please read on for more details about the new website. But first, a word of gratitude to our volunteers who made this possible.

Heartfelt thanks to Board Member and Membership Chair Dan Baeza for singlehandedly keeping our Active Divers website going strong for the past 15+ years. We appreciate your loyalty and dedication to our club, and are so grateful for your expertise these many years.  

Thank you Rudy Lopez and Team!
Board Member, Safety Officer and IT professional Rodolfo "Rudy" Lopez assembled a crackerjack team of digital whizzes to assemble the new site and test out all of the procedures. Huge props to Rudy and his team including Jean Gruss, Fabian Lago, Anand Ranganathan and Rachel Davis who met weekly since the start of the year to make sure the new site meets members' needs. In addition to being user-friendly, it automates many formerly-manual processes on the back end that will save time and eliminate mistakes.

Dive Bookings
All of our upcoming dives are on the new site ready for booking, and you will receive an email confirmation of your booking with a QR code to be used to check in at the dive site. If you choose to create a login for the new site you will see at a glance all the dives you signed up for. 

Got Credits?
If you have credits for unused dives carried over from last year you will receive an email containing coupon codes in the amount of your credit that can be used on the new site. The price of your dive order will be reduced by the amount of your coupon(s) when entered at check out. 

Dive Pricing, Insurance and Refunds
This year we have streamlined pricing, insurance and refunds. Two tank dives are a flat rate of $85, and three tank dives are $125 which includes cancellation insurance. If you must cancel a dive, just fill out the cancellation form and your payment will be refunded, minus a $10 processing fee (i.e. the dive insurance). 

Member Communication
Starting this year the dive status will be posted right here on the home page as soon as confirmation is received that the dive is a go or if it's cancelled. You can still contact the Safety Officer for more details, but the dive status and Safety Officer information will now be readily available to all members in real time.

Free BBQ! Free DIVE! Free Raffle! 

Make plans to join us now for our annual season opener Picnic, Potluck, BBQ, Swap Meet and Raffle event at the Blue Heron Bridge at Phil Foster Park – 900 Blue Heron Blvd., Riviera Beach, FL 33404 on Saturday, April 12. Meet at 7:30 a.m. to dive, BBQ at 11:00 a.m. This event is open to all Active Divers Association members, prospective members, family, and friends. New members to the club can join at the $49 early bird rate.

Members are encouraged to bring a dish, snacks or soft drinks to share. Please be advised that no alcoholic beverages are allowed at the park. Please RSVP to John Davis by email at johncdavisauthor@gmail.com and let him know what you plan to bring for the potluck. Deadline to RSVP is April 9.

We will dive the Blue Heron Bridge, named the Best Shore Dive in the US. Our Safety Officers will lead the shore dive in groups to the best sites at the bridge. Bring all your own gear, tank, weights and a dive flag if you have one. If you need to rent a tank or any other gear, stop by Force E at 155 Blue Heron Blvd., Riviera Beach, FL 33404 on your way to the park. The park has picnic tables, bathroom, and outdoor showers. Look for us under the covered pavilions on the west side of the park.

Bring your gently used dive gear for sale or swap at our annual swap meet!! Please note: No warranty is implied or expressed for equipment acquired at this event. The Active Divers Association is not responsible for the safety of functioning of any equipment purchased or acquired during this event.
